Basic PTM - Calendar Format Assignment

CalendarCreator (10:21:00 PM): hi CalendarRequestor
CalendarCreator (10:21:30 PM): I have a question about critical path homework
CalendarCreator (10:22:59 PM): its CalendarCreator
CalendarCreator (10:37:13 PM): are you playing civilization?
CalendarRequestor (10:59:46 PM): just finished
CalendarCreator (11:01:08 PM): cool I was just wondering that since I was off on my est. should I fix it for the critical path and calender
CalendarCreator (11:01:31 PM): would I have to redo the est project for that?
CalendarRequestor (11:01:56 PM): Ar
CalendarRequestor (11:02:05 PM): you can if you want
CalendarCreator (11:02:34 PM): will I be graded down if I dont fix it?
CalendarRequestor (11:03:16 PM): nope
CalendarRequestor (11:03:28 PM): just need to do a calendar that works with your estimate
CalendarCreator (11:03:33 PM): ok
CalendarCreator (11:04:34 PM): for format #3 for the calendar format do you need to do 2 sizes or one inbetween size?
CalendarRequestor (11:06:11 PM): 2
CalendarRequestor (11:06:14 PM): one big
CalendarRequestor (11:06:17 PM): one little
CalendarCreator (11:07:12 PM): but not the same sizes as the format #1 and 2 right more in between them
CalendarCreator (11:08:04 PM): sort of on a scale from big med-big med-small small
CalendarRequestor (11:08:36 PM): the same size as #1 and #2
CalendarCreator (11:08:58 PM): oh then how is #3 different
CalendarCreator (11:09:02 PM): ?
CalendarRequestor (11:10:16 PM): it has to work well in both sizes
CalendarRequestor (11:10:30 PM): whereas #1 and #2 need only work for one size
CalendarCreator (11:11:10 PM): is it the same thing on all sheets?
CalendarRequestor (11:11:53 PM): What does the assignment ask for?
CalendarCreator (11:15:25 PM): I just reread it and it seems like you want one calendar format that is put into different sheet sizes, but I'm pretty sure I reading it wrong
CalendarRequestor (11:16:06 PM): you need to see what you can effectively show in each size of output
CalendarRequestor (11:16:30 PM): for print that is easily readable on an A Sheet will likely be fairly large on a D-Sheet
CalendarCreator (11:16:36 PM): so modify the information to the sheet size
CalendarRequestor (11:16:57 PM): so if you just make your a sheet calendar to be a d sheet, then it will look like something a first grader might do with crayons
CalendarRequestor (11:17:12 PM): so you will need to make decisions about how much you can show
CalendarRequestor (11:17:18 PM): and what format to show it in
CalendarRequestor (11:17:29 PM): based on if the calendar is to be posted in large format
CalendarRequestor (11:17:38 PM): or if it is something to be punched and put in a binder
CalendarRequestor (11:17:49 PM): so you do a "best small"
CalendarRequestor (11:17:55 PM): a "best large"
CalendarRequestor (11:18:02 PM): and a "best compromise"
CalendarCreator (11:18:26 PM): and two of best compromise?
CalendarRequestor (11:19:18 PM): yes, one each small and large
CalendarCreator (11:19:32 PM): ok that makes much more sense
CalendarCreator (11:19:35 PM): thanks
CalendarRequestor (11:19:39 PM): np
CalendarCreator (11:19:52 PM): enjoy your game!
CalendarRequestor (11:20:02 PM): I lost
CalendarRequestor (11:20:06 PM): :-(
CalendarCreator (11:20:16 PM): sorry
CalendarRequestor (11:20:23 PM): happens
CalendarCreator (11:23:37 PM): bye
