Everyone will have a problem with everything. I think this school should scrap this show and do a total right winged religious show about abortion, then you can protest. Every type of character that is placed on stage could be considered a stereotype. Characters are just fiction, and fiction is not true. I am sometimes amazed at what people will protest.

Like Julie said, there is no way to please everyone. This is an example of over-sensitivity toward a specific issue to the point where the true meaning of the piece is lost. The "mobsters" aren't up to no good, they're conducting a charitble act. This attempt at censureship just exposes the closed-mindedness of some people who attend shows. Someone will always be offended no matter the subject material. - Maddie Regan
