We would like to alert you and your students to the upcoming Fulbright U.S. Student Program for study abroad. SUMMER IS THE BEST TIME FOR STUDENTS TO WORK ON A FULBRIGHT APPLICATION. Our campus Fulbright deadline is September 21st, 2006. This grant applies to rising seniors through Ph.D. students (as long as they have not yet received the terminal degree in their field). Please forward this message to your students!
At the end of this email is a list of twenty-one FULBRIGHT GRANT ANNOUNCEMENTS. Several of these specific opportunities may be PERFECT for students in your department. Also, you may be surprised to learn that Fulbright offers four Special Program Opportunities -- Business Grants, English Teaching Assistantships, Islamic Civilization Initiatives, and Language Training Initiatives. Please take a quick look.

Students who are interested in applying should contact us immediately for preparation instructions and detailed information about the campus application process. We are available most of the summer to assist students in refining an idea, strategizing project proposals, and reviewing essays. Again, the earlier they start, the better.
