This is relevant to us designers too. I think its one of the most important skills I've learned in design for the stage this year-how to communicate my ideas clearly and confidently. I think this will be a great asset to me both while I am working on a job and when I am trying to find one.

So, is it just me, or is that list a little bit...obvious. "If you want to make your self a higher status, raise your voice and make your presence known"....yeah, I get it. I should be louder and taller. I mean, is this really what they are teaching actors? Do they really not know these things? I agree with Maddie too. We need to become firmer and more confident in our comments and design ideas. In order to do a design presentation, we need to be able to stand up and say "YES, this is my design and YES it works." Not, YES DICK OF COURSE, IF YOU SAY SO!
