SOUND & ELECTRICS INTERNSHIP -- Florida Studio Theatre, a professional Equity regional theatre in Sarasota, FL has an opening for a Sound & Electrics intern for the 2006 Summer Season. Duties include: lead the electrics crew during changeover, maintain sound and lighting equipment, sound editing, and equipment inventory control. This position works closely with lighting designers and the Master Electrician. The contract begins June 12. The ending date is flexible, between August 14-27. TECHNICAL THEATRE INTERSHIP - Florida Studio Theatre has an opening for a Technical Theatre Intern to begin on June 12, 2006 and work thru mid-August, 2006. This internship focuses on painting and set construction. The interns will also gain some experience in sounds and electrics. Knowledge of power tools helpful.
